Week 17-19

Another couple of weeks, some more of apartment living.
Things at the house got delayed by both inspections and weather (a 24" blizzard on February 17).
The siding has begun, and insulating is just about finished. The house is a dusty mess, but it's getting there. Here are some more pictures.
The front of the house, covered by the "pre siding." I don't know what the stuff is called. All I know is that it's on in between the Tyvek paper and the siding. I'm looking forward for the electric, cable and phone companies to come and move their lines up to the top of the house so the contraption in front can go away.
This is a shot of the newly framed garage (the doors can't be installed until the sheetrock is up) and the beginning of the siding (the back and other side are completed). The siding color is "champagne." It looks beautiful next to the brown roof.
The front doors, sitting in what used to be Emily's bedroom (soon to be Eric's office) drying after being stained. They should be installed in the next few days, I think.
Goodbye ugly pink bathroom (at the end of the hall). Hello, construction mess. ;-)
