April 14-29
We're coming home this weekend!
Still missing some sinks, some carpet and everything's generally a mess but no more hotel living for us.
Where to begin? Might as well go in the order it was in my camera. This used to be the girl's rooms and now will be our office suite, separated by beautiful pocket doors. I'm standing in my office. Eric's is on the other side.

My new desk. I know it's "backwards" but I wanted it in this space in this way and it was only $399. It's big and roomy. The chair is ergonomic and extremely comfortable.

Moving upstairs, this is Laini's room. Ready for furniture tomorrow.

A closeup of the border she picked out.

And here's Emily's room.

This is her border. Anyone who knows Emily should not be the least bit surprised. :-)

Master bedroom:

Futon for the guest room (otherwise known as "Grandma's room")

The girl's bathroom. The countertop/sink was damaged in delivery and was re-ordered. The fixtures for the hardware and the mirrors are on their way. There's a working toilet and shower in this bathroom so we'll be using that here, and the sink in the master bathroom.

The master closet! I am so thrilled with how this came out.

Another view.

And finally, still a work in progress but looking good so far...the master bath.
