It has been wonderful to be home!
It's been all about the finishing touches now. Here are few pictures of how we're progressing inside.
The chandelier is up! It took the electricians most of the afternoon to get it up on the biggest ladder I have ever seen. I told them to use really, really good lightbulbs that won't need to be changed for a while. :-)
The upstairs carpeting was installed yesterday. It feels wonderful under bare feet. Very soft, yet durable.
This is the downstairs bathroom, the only room really nowhere near done. At least the tile was started. It should be done in a week or two, I think.
Our living room. Freshly painted, not put together yet. This is where the entire contents of our house was stored during constructions, so it looks 1000% better now than it did a month ago.
My office. Still a little sterile looking (needs some color on the windows and walls), but very functional and comfortable.
Our new den. Very comfy.
Emily is very happy to be home.
The master shower. A little on the small side. I couldn't imagine Eric or I using it at our former sizes. But I love the tile work. It looks so elegant.
