Coastal design projects present great challenges and opportunities. There is little that Greg Grew enjoys more
than the water's edge, whether seashore, riverbank, pond, lake, brook, tidal wetlands or even a good view of these. So we love to design
projects in these settings.
An advantage of hiring GREW DESIGN for coastal projects is our familiarity with building code
requirements for coastal and flood zone areas and FEMA  guidelines for coastal design.
Proper consideration must be given to exposure to high winds, effects of flooding, moisture control, and the accelerated effects of
weathering on exterior materials.
We have designed projects in the following areas:
- Connecticut's Long Island Sound shoreline
- Housatonic River
- Niantic River
- Lake Champlain
